TARGET GROUP AND KEY OBJECTIVES OF OUR MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

Skills development and mentorship is a strategy we are using to empower youth to overcome the current unemployment and poverty but also to help them discover their talents and gifts and hence able to live a purposeful life that would contribute to the economic development of Uganda. In the short-run this will reduce crimes, help children utilize their long holiday positively other than watching TVs and engage with social media, support parents by keeping these teenagers and youths during working days, as well as help these youth discover their talents and abilities and utilize the holidays, later on create own employment in the long run.

Our area of mentorship and training programs for this 2023 holiday will focus at enhancing ICT, compulsory books reading & discussing (Gifted Hands-Ben Carson), Music-Ballet dance, Keyboard & Guitar, Cooking & Baking, Motivational talks, games & sports, children prayer school and bible study from age of 10 years and above. Monday to Fridays from 8th Jan – 2nd Feb 2024.

Our trainings will be from Monday to Friday 8am-5pm.

The key objectives of our training include;

  • Introduce a reading and writing culture
  • To promote innovation and creativity among the youth hence the spirit of entrepreneurship
  • To nurture the music and dancing talents.
  • To identify, promote and nurture talents by embracing technology.
  • Interest children to embrace the kitchen especially the boy child (Dove Kitchen)
  • To promote the savings and investment culture at a tender age.
